    The Anti-Bullying Alliance has been named Radnor Fam ‘Charity of the Year’ for the second year running. The suppliers of spring and flavoured waters, functional waters, infused waters, school-compliant drinks, premium sparkling pressés, fruit juices and own-label brands will fundraise for the Charity with the aim of raising as much as possible to help their work to reduce bullying in the UK.

    Government research reports 1 in 5 secondary pupils have been bullied in the past 12 months

    In March, the Department for Education in England published a report on the November 2021 - January 2022 findings from their Parent, Pupil and Learner Panel omnibus survey. The survey collects views and experiences of parents of pupils in years 1 to 11, school pupils in years 7-13, and 16 to 18 learners in further education classroom settings.

    Each November the Anti-Bullying Alliance coordinates Anti-Bullying Week in schools across England. Anti-Bullying Week is kicked off every year by celebrating Odd Socks Day, which was created with us in 2017 by our patron, CBeebies star Andy Day and his band, Andy and the Odd Socks.

    ABA's position on the French government plans to introduce new laws to criminalise school bullying

    The French government is introducing new laws to establish the crime of “school bullying” applies to children and adults in schools and universities, including students as well as staff such as canteen service teams and break-time monitors. It would carry a maximum three-year jail term and a fine of up to €45,000 (£38,300).
