We're excited to have partnered with Taskmaster Education for this year's Anti-Bullying Week! This fun and thought provoking session uses clips from Taskmaster presenters Greg Davies and Alex Horne to help young people explore the difference between banter and bullying.
The Anti-Bullying Alliance and Taskmaster Education have partnered to create a fun and engaging 60-minute session for secondary school students, using the much-loved humour of Greg Davies and Alex Horne to explore an important question: when does banter cross the line into bullying?
Through clips from the show and lively discussion, students are encouraged to think about humour, friendship, boundaries and the impact our words and actions can have on others. The session gives young people the opportunity to explore what healthy friendships look and feel like, while considering how context, intent and impact can change the way a joke is received.
Light-hearted, thought-provoking and designed to get young people talking, Taskmaster: Banter or Bullying? offers an accessible way to open up conversations about respect, empathy and positive relationships.
Thanks to Avalon, Taskmaster and Taskmaster Education for permitting the use of their clips.
