Radnor FAM and the Anti-Bullying Alliance reunite to tackle bullying in UK schools
More
Radnor FAM, the UK’s leading approved brand in schools, has renewed its close partnership with the Anti-Bullying Alliance for the forth successive year to help make a significant impact on bullying in UK schools in 2024.
As part of the collaboration, for every pack of Radnor Fizz sold throughout November 2023 Radnor Hills made a donation to The Anti-Bullying Alliance.
In addition, the partnership involved a series of dynamic initiatives including targeted educational campaigns, interactive workshops, practical guidance to students, social campaigns and events specifically designed to engage schools during Anti-Bullying Week, which ran from November 13-17.
There was also a competition with Radnor FAM providing some exclusive prizes for the Anti-Bullying Week School Staff Award [NOMINATIONS NOW CLOSED], which recognised those people who go beyond the call of duty to support children with issues such as bullying, family life, relationships and health.
Pupils in England, Wales and Northern Ireland were encouraged to nominate school staff for the award and the winners were chosen by a panel of young people.
The Anti-Bullying Alliance is committed to reducing bullying and creating safe environments for children and young people. Bullying remains a prevalent issue that affects students of all ages and backgrounds, hindering their well-being and educational experience.
Anti-Bullying Week, co-ordinated by the Anti-Bullying Alliance, which traditionally kicks off with Odd Socks Day, has received support over the years from Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Victoria Beckham, Craig David, Sir Mo Farah, Ant and Dec and Emma Willis.
“We’re excited to embark on our partnership with the Anti-Bullying Alliance for the third consecutive year and we’re hoping to raise a record amount of money and awareness. As the UK’s number one approved brand in schools, we feel a deep responsibility to contribute positively to the wellbeing of students. By working together with The Anti-Bullying Alliance, we can amplify our impact and create lasting change to help prevent bullying effectively.”
‘’We’re delighted and proud to have been chosen as Radnor Fam’s Charity of the Year for a further year. Bullying has a significant impact on a child’s life that can last well into adulthood. The funds raised by Radnor Fam and their support of Anti-Bullying Week will help us continue our much-needed work to reduce bullying.”
