ABA patron Andy Day announces winner of Odd Socks Day 2021 competition

Each November the Anti-Bullying Alliance coordinates Anti-Bullying Week in schools across England. Anti-Bullying Week is kicked off every year by celebrating Odd Socks Day, which was created with us in 2017 by our patron, CBeebies star Andy Day and his band, Andy and the Odd Socks.

In Anti-Bullying Week 2021, the Anti-Bullying Alliance & Andy and the Odd Socks ran an Odd Socks Day competition asking schools to send in photos or videos that most creatively capture how their school participated in Odd Socks Day. The lucky winning school will receive an in-person visit and performance from Andy and the Odd Socks. Five runners up will also each receive a video call from Andy Day!

We were overwhelmed by thousands of fantastic entries to the competition on social media and it was almost impossible to choose a winner. Watch the video below to hear Andy Day announce the chosen winners & runners-up.
