The Anti-Racist and Faith-Targeted Bullying Working Group was established in 2024 to unite organisations and individuals with a shared commitment to tackling bullying targeting race, ethnicity, and faith. Membership is by invitation only to ensure the Group's expertise aligns with its purpose.
The primary aims of the Group are to:
- Facilitate discussions on issues related to racist and faith-targeted bullying of children and young people in the UK;
- Share best practices, resources, and research to support action against racist and faith-targeted bullying;
- Promote collective action and advocacy to raise awareness, influence policy, and reduce the prevalence of racist and faith-targeted bullying.
The groups current co-chair's are Alex Holmes, Deputy CEO of The Diana Award, and Grace Preston, Senior Policy and Advocacy Officer at The Traveller Movement.
