Sarah Wayman joined NCB in July 2026 as a maternity cover for Martha Boateng. She leads the work of the Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA), supporting its members in all aspects of bullying prevention and response.
She manages the Anti-Bullying Week and Odd Socks Day campaign each November which reaches over 80% of schools England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
She’s previously worked on research, campaigns and policy with children and young people at The Children’s Society and National Union of Students and co-designed community projects with organisations including Southend Museums and Youth Access.
Sarah is passionate about improving the lives of children and young people through co-designing creative and meaningful change with them. Away from work, Sarah can often be found singing, hiking or researching queer history.
