We're hiring

For nearly 60 years the National Children’s Bureau (NCB) has been building a better childhood for all.

The Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA) is a unique coalition of organisations and individuals, working together to achieve our vision to: stop bullying and create safer environments in which children and young people can live, grow, play and learn.

We work on developing campaigns, including the annual Anti-Bullying Week campaign, policy improvement and improving the anti-bullying practice of the children’s workforce.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Campaigns Manager to join the Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA) team, based at the National Children’s Bureau. The successful candidate will lead on our campaigns and associated partnerships, primarily the Anti-Bullying Week and Odd Socks Day national campaign, which reaches over 80% of schools and over 8 million children in England, Wales and Northern Ireland each year. We are looking for an individual who is highly organised, strategic and creative, and who can build on the momentum we have generated with Anti-Bullying Week.

You will work as an account manager for our funders and develop new partnerships with a range of other stakeholders to deliver an innovative and wide-reaching Anti-Bullying Week campaign. You will coordinate and deliver the Anti-Bullying Week and Odd Socks Day campaign, working closely with the Director of ABA, our funders and other stakeholders to deliver a range of elements of the campaign including events, social media, resources, films, media and work with young people.

In addition to the above you should have strong copywriting skills, excellent oral and written communication skills and strong planning and organisational skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team and use your skills to help reduce bullying and improve the lives of children and young people.
