Anti-Bullying Week 2024: Choose Respect ABA are official organisers of Anti-Bullying Week and Odd Socks Day in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Anti-Bullying Week 2024 will take place from Monday 11th - Friday 15th November, with the theme: Choose Respect. Odd Socks Day is taking place on Tuesday 12th November, with adults and children being encouraged to wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique. More

1.1) We have a senior lead within the school to coordinate our whole-school approach to anti-bullying 1.2) We have a school governor who leads on anti-bullying activity and monitors school action in this area 1.3) Staff are encouraged and expected to model exemplary conduct towards each other and pupils 1.4) Bullying is understood by all as a barrier to learning, a potential safeguarding issue and a wellbeing issue 1.5) We monitor pupil absence for indication of bullying 1.6) The school has an anti-bullying action plan that is regularly reviewed and updated 1.7) Pupils are supported to be actively involved in anti-bullying initiatives (e.g. including awareness raising, peer support) Back to Audit and Action Plan page
